Dementia Carebot

This collaborative project between Emory NLP and the Department of Neurology focuses on developing and validating an AI-powered conversational agent for Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) assessment. The system will conduct comprehensive diagnostic interviews with patients to systematically identify and evaluate cognitive symptoms associated with dementia. By leveraging advanced natural language processing and conversational AI technologies, the project aims to enable early detection and intervention for cognitive decline. The conversational agent will be designed to provide thorough, standardized assessments while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach, ultimately supporting clinicians in delivering timely and effective care to prevent or slow the progression of dementia-related conditions.
